Conformance Level
This website aims to conform to Israeli Standard 5568:2020 (based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA) in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), Section 35. This statement was last updated in June 2026.
Accessibility Features Implemented
- Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link appears at the top of every page on Tab keypress, allowing users to bypass repeated navigation.
- Full keyboard navigation: All interactive components — including timeline cards on the CV page — are operable via keyboard (Enter/Space to expand, Escape to close menus).
- Visible focus indicator: All focusable elements display a clear blue focus ring when navigated via keyboard.
- Alternative text: All meaningful images include appropriate alt text; decorative SVG icons are hidden from assistive technology.
- Colour contrast: Contrast ratios meet AA requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Heading structure: A logical heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3) is used throughout all pages.

ARIA attributes: Expandable widgets communicate their state (
aria-expanded); navigation landmarks are labelled; mobile menu toggle announces open/closed state. -
Reduced motion: Animations are suppressed for users who have set
prefers-reduced-motion. -
Semantic HTML: Appropriate semantic elements (
<header>,<nav>,<main>,<footer>) are used throughout. -
Bilingual support: Full Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR) versions with correct
langanddirattributes, andhreflangalternates declared. - Mobile-responsive: The site adapts fully to all screen sizes and touch devices.
Known Limitations
We continue to improve accessibility. Current known limitation:
- No captions or transcripts for video content (the site does not currently include video).
